Job Title: .45 FTE Middle School Math Title I Tutor (SY 24-25) 

Position Type: Part-time/.45 FTE

Hours Per Week: 4 days a week/18 hours a week

Rate of Pay: $35.00 per hour 

Reports to: Math/Science Coordinator

Location: Watertown Middle School

Summary:

The tutor will work with classroom teachers to identify students who require substantial intervention in Math. The tutor will work with these students primarily in a push-in model for the purpose of small group and targeted assistance aligned with the Math curriculum. This is a Part-Time position at 18 hours per week.

 Responsibilities:

• Complete the required paperwork for the strategies/interventions as outlined in Title I regulations
• Work with the principal and classroom teachers to identify potential students for assistance/ intervention using objective criteria
• Teach multiple small intervention groups. 
• Progress monitor and analyze student data

• Demonstrated ability to implement interventions in Math programs and to provide support to at-risk students
• Licensure by the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education as an Elementary Teacher
