Position: Extended School Year (ESY )School Nurse, Elementary (Summer 2024)
Locations: Hosmer Elementary
Dates: July 1, 2024 - August 8, 2024 (Mondays - Thursdays)
June 27th - Staff Preparation date
Time: 7:45 - 12:30
Compensation: Nurse: $42.00/hour
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct service and treatment when needed
- Follow related Health Plans
- Communication with parents and staff regarding medical issues
- Respond to daily building-based nursing needs
- Data monitoring and reporting
- Provide support to field trips as needed
- Attend pre-program training.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Experience delivering services to preschool, elementary, and/or secondary preferred
- Experience collaborating with colleagues
- Experience reading IEPs and Health Plans
- Current CPR & First Aid training
