Position: Title 1 Math Tutor-Hosmer Elementary

Salary range: $35.00 per hour
Summary:
The Title I Tutor will work with classroom teachers to identify students who require substantial intervention in Math. The tutor will work with these students primarily in a push-in model for the purpose of small group and targeted assistance aligned with the Literacy curriculum.

Responsibilities:
- Complete required paperwork for the strategies/interventions as outlined in Title I regulations
- Work with principal and classroom teachers to identify potential students for the assistance/ intervention using objective criteria
- Teach multiple small intervention groups.
- Progress monitor and analyze student data

- Demonstrated ability to implement interventions in Math programs and to provide support to at-risk students
- Licensure by the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education as an Elementary Teacher
