General Description:

The Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) is responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating students with speech, language, and communication disorders that impact their ability to access the curriculum. The SLP collaborates with teachers, staff, and families to develop and implement individualized strategies that support student success. This position requires expertise in conducting assessments, creating intervention plans, and providing direct therapy services to students in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 plans. The SLP plays a critical role in fostering inclusive learning environments, promoting communication equity, and ensuring that students receive the necessary support to thrive academically and socially.
