Position: Extended School Year (ESY) Secondary Teacher (Summer 2024)
Location: Watertown High School
Dates: July 1, 2024 - August 8, 2024 (Mondays - Thursdays)
June 27th - Staff Preparation date

Compensation:
$42.00/hour: Teachers
$34.00/hour: Unlicensed Teacher
Secondary:
- Connections (Sub-Separate) Teachers - Secondary - 8:00 AM-12:00 PM, Monday-Thursday
- Secondary Small Group (Reading/Math) Instructors - 7:45 AM-12:15 PM, Monday-Thursday
- Learning Support (Sub-Separate)Teachers - Secondary - 8:00 AM-12:00 PM, Monday-Thursday
- ISP (Sub-Separate) Teachers – Secondary - 8:00 AM-12:00 PM, Monday-Thursday
Responsibilities:
- Teach groupings of special education students in grades 6-12
- Conduct whole group and/or small group literacy lessons
- Conduct whole groups and/or small group Math lessons
- Follow related IEP Goals and Accommodations
- Teach age-related social skills and functional behavior
- Teaching is focused on the prevention of skill regression
- Progress monitoring and reporting
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Experience working with elementary and/or secondary preferred
- Experience collaborating with colleagues
- Familiarity with best practices in literacy and math instruction
- Holds the belief that all children can learn
- Attend pre-program training
