*This is A Short Term Sub Position that is expected to start as soon as possible and end on 11/13/24*

 

 

Summary:

The Hosmer School seeks an exceptional Long-term substitute special education teacher who is highly qualified and knowledgeable to join our community of teachers, learners, and leaders. Responsibilities 

Qualifications - Required

  1. Education: Hold a bachelor's degree.
  2. Have at least two years of teaching experience.
  3. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing, to children and adults

Qualifications-Preferred

  1. Master’s Degree in Elementary Education or Education.
  2. Dual certification in Moderate Disabilities and Pre-K-8
  3. Familiarity with the knowledge of MTSS framework and progress monitoring
  4. Knowledge of the following curricular components is also highly recommended:  Eureka Math 2, Wilson Fundations, Wit & Wisdom, Orton-Gilligham, and Responsive Classroom.
