Position: Middle School Girls Basketball Coach 

Reports to: Athletic Director

Stipend Rate: $2,350.00 

Dates: December 9, 2024 - February 14, 2025

 

Summary:

  

The Middle School Basketball Coach position is designed to oversee the total program of that sport. The Middle School Basketball Coach is responsible for their team but must also assist and lead the other coaches to pull together for a unified effort in that sport. The pay for his position is per contract. 

 

Some duties include the following:

1. Planning all areas of their team.
2. They lead and assist their coaching staff in coordinating efforts under one program goal and ensuring compliance with rules at all levels.
3. Analyze game strategy.
4. Implementation of skill development.
5. Coverage of bus trips
6. Video analysis of games
7. Statistical analysis of games
8. Attend all league and local, district, and state meetings when necessary.
9. They are contacting local Youth Groups to promote their respective sport in town.
10. Planning award ceremonies and individual award winners
